I gave it my best shot, creating draftwired. Unfortunately it (the app) will probably not be back next year. I have struggled mightily trying to get noticed and unless I find a marketing whiz who's willing to partner with me I cannot envision doing this anymore. I've asked the bloggers here at SBN (including WCG) to review it and mention it to all the draft enthusiasts to no avail. anyway here's my draftwired mock.
Bears Draft Simulation from www.draftwired2.com
Trades:
(22) from MIA for (36, 67)
Picks:
Rd 1 Pk 3 - Solomon Thomas (DE 3/4) Stanford
Rd 1 Pk 22 - DeShone Kizer (QB) Notre Dame
Rd 4 Pk 111 - Cameron Sutton (CB) Tennessee
Rd 4 Pk 117 - Adam Bisnowaty (OT) Pittsburgh
Rd 5 Pk 147 - Jeremy McNichols (RB) Boise State
Rd 7 Pk 221 - Nathan Gerry (SS) Nebraska
1st rd pks 21-24 (before Houston) all match up well with surrendering pk 36 and 67, I think Trubs, Watson and Mahomes will all be gone and Kizer will be the only qb left worth drafting as a potential franchise qb.
I think with a year behind Glennon and with the aid of Sanchez, Kizer could realize his potential. I'd love to have drafted a high level safety but you can't have everything you want in one draft.
