Robert Zeglinski was down at Chicago Bears camp today and he went live on our Facebook page from the basketball courts at Olivet Nazarene University to discuss everything he saw. The Bears had a light practice, only helmets and shorts, so not a ton of action today with the Hall Of Fame Game looming on Thursday.
Robert was joined by The Bear Report’s Zack Pearson. Check out the video above (or click here to head over to our WCG Facebook page) for all the fun. They talked about the on field action, buy also discussed the post-practice press conferences, and went over the latest on the Roquan Smith situation.
Even though it was essentially a walk-through, the team still had plenty of 11-on-11 action going on.
Adam Shaheen had a couple of big red zone jump ball touchdowns, and this big 6’6” tight end will be a problem for defenses once the Bears get down near goal line.
Rookie wide out Javon Wims also made some plays, but if they were keeping score, this day would have gone to the defense again.
Quarterback Mitchell Trubisky threw some more interceptions, but that’s all part of his development and the process of learning a new offense. Head coach Matt Nagy said he has no concerns with the picks and he says Trubisky is having a good camp so far.
One more note before we throw it to Twitter, inside linebacker Danny Trevathan was back at practice today.

I feel like it’s really difficult to miss Tarik Cohen once he burns a defender(s).
