It's a couple days late, but Pride of Detroit has the Mike Mayock conference call transcript. He is truly the best analyst in the game.
Just the name alone would go great with Peppers, "and that's another Frosty Peppers for Rogers". Most probably can be had on the cheap - there aren't too many 4-3 teams left. Only 4 sacks but in rotation behind Peppers, Wooten and McClellin, it might work out better than Issy and Ozougwu
Worked with Trestman in Oakland, and explains why we still have not hired one.
Apparently the last 4 Super Bowl winners all played in the Eagles' home opener...
From Arizona Cardinals 1998 playbook.
New Bears coach Marc Trestman recruited Tim Tebow to North Carolina State in 2006 and tutored Tebow in preparation for the 2010 Senior Bowl. "I believe in the right environment Tim Tebow will figure this out," Trestman said in 2010. "He doesn’t have explosive arm strength, but he has more than adequate arm strength to throw the ball in the NFL and make all the throws. ... If you’re a coach and you love coaching quarterbacks, you’d love the opportunity to develop Tim Tebow." The Jets are expected to release Tebow after the Super Bowl, so Trestman should have an opportunity to sign him in March. I don't know about you, but I'd take Tebow as a "developmental backup" as long as he was getting paid like one.
Ummmmm OK I guess Arians & Bevell didn't interview well ...........
And we have finalist number one ......
Sorry but I view this as a mistake on Emerys part .
Still dont understand why so much hate is directed at this guy.
