Along with both of my FF teams that were steaming along to the finals, they and the Bears run smack into Adrian Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings. I'd like to think for the pride of this team and my FF teams the Bears can put the clamps on him, but I have my doubts considering the depleted defensive line we will be putting on the field tonight.
The Bears look to play spoiler to the Vikings who currently hold the rights to the 6th and final spot in the playoffs. Sad as it sounds for the state of the NFC, the Bears, although unlikely, would still be in the play off race with a win.

The Bears and the Redskins come into this game 2 games under .500, yet amazingly they are still in the playoff race, though only by a thread. Loser of this game can start looking to play spoiler and to the draft. Winner can hang onto the hope and pray for a ton of help.

With Detroit going down and the Giants on their way down, the Bears are still very much in the race. However, Minnesota got the win today, so the Bears need a win over Denver just to stay out of the cellar.

Bye Week Game Thread
It is normally at this point, when a team is one bye week, that other bloggers here as SB Nation trot out pictures of their teams cheerleaders. It is a practice I wholeheartedly encourage. Of course the Bears do not have any, so I get left out of the practice. I actually started to dig up old pics to see what I had, but the options were limited. I did however come across this picture, which will have to work in this case.

I assume everybody will be tuning in for the Patriots and Colts game later today, but other games of interest are:
In the division Detroit hosts Denver, Minnesota gets San Diego at their house. While Green Bay is at KC. This could be a great week for the Bears. All of these games could be loses for out NFC North brothers.
Outside of our division we have these games which could be interesting to watch:
Carolina at Tennessee
Jacksonville at New Orleans
Seattle at Cleveland
