Super Bowl XX receives an F Grade, The Superfans Disagree

Photo

Sports Illustrated took it upon themselves to grade every Super Bowl ever played using a standard letter grading system. The Chicago Bears' 46-10 thumping of the New England Patriots garnered an F, and that F angered "A certain Navy and Orange-clad group of men, that happen to cheer for that other Navy and Orange clad group of men, that play all home games in the greatest city on the planet. That city is of course Chicago, that second group of men is of course Da Bears, and that initial group of men that started us off on this little quote is of course us Superfans."

You can check out the entire SI list by clicking the link above. Then after the jump you can take a look at the Super Bowl grades as handed out by the Superfans. Bill Swerski and the gang you can take it away...

The Inside Scoop: Finally, the Superfans come back to WCG!

178783_medium

A couple weeks back the Superfans were gracious enough with some of their valuable time and stopped by Windy City Gridiron during lunch time to answer a few questions.  You can find that Q&A right here(Link will pop like Da Coach's eyes on this post)

(And that link will pop like the buttons on Todd's Husky Levi Button Fly jeans after he gorges himself on this incredible sausage recipe)

(And that link will pop like Michael Vick's shoulder after Julius Peppers and Israel Idonije meet somewhere in the Eagles backfield Sunday afternoon, sandwiching the comeback player of the year candidate between their mammoth selves, thus ending any chance Vick has in winning the aforementioned award, and ensuring the honor will be bestowed on the #1 tackler in the history of the Chicago Bears, Brian Urlacher.)

I feel as though I took that whole "link will pop" thing one too far...  Anyway...  Just Leave your questions in the comment section and Bill Swerski and the gang will be by around lunch time with their unique Bears insights.

The Inside Scoop: The Superfans Join WCG for a Live Q/A Session

Joe_20mantegna-bill_20swerski_mediumWith no Bears last weekend, we thought it would be an opportune time to get our latest special special guest some face time on WCG.  You've seen them from time to time dropping by on my posts, giving us their wisdom, with their unique way of looking at our favorite team.  Some would say it's a look through orange and navy colored glasses.  And some would be right.  But as sure as Walter Payton is the greatest football player that ever lived, these guys are the Greatest Bears fans in the universe.  For the love of Ditka I present to you, The Superfans.

But you can't deny some of their prognostication expertise.  They wanted me to point out they correctly predicted the Packer and Cowboy win.  And they even predicted the big game from Israel Idonije against the Panthers.

So as with other Inside Scoops, just leave your questions for The Superfans in the comments section, and sometime around lunchtime they'll jump on with their answers.
