Devin Hester to Windy City Gridiron: "You Can't Game-plan On Us"
I'd say that WCG had a chance to catch up with Devin Hester on Friday, but there's no catching up to the man. Hester, however, was nice enough to slow down for a bit and chat with me at an event promoting the new Nike NFL gear at Dick's Sporting Goods in Lombard. Fly your way below the fold to get all the juicy details about the new look for the NFL, Johnny Knox's recovery, Hester's role in the Tice offense, and how Marshall has been doing since signing with the Bears.

Gale Sayers speaks out on Bears offense, Saints bounties, and George Halas
Recently we had the opportunity to chat with retired Bears RB Gale Sayers about a number of Chicago Bears/NFL topics. As always, Sayers was candid in his responses, and provided plenty of insights that should generate some interesting discussions.
WCG: The Matt Forte contract situation has been a hot topic for months now, and Bears fans seem to be divided with their opinions. The team offered what they thought was fair (4 years/ $30M/ $13M guaranteed), but he feels he is worth more. Where do you see Forte ranking among NFL running backs, and how do you see this situation playing out?
WCG Pre Draft Interview with Rutgers OT Desmond Stapleton
NFL scouts scour over film on every possible prospect eligible for the upcoming draft. During draft weekend not all the players that hear their names called had an opportunity to showcase their skills at the NFL Combine. The NFL Dream is alive and well for many college seniors.
Earlier this week we had a chance to talk to a couple of prospects that were in Indy at the combine, Penn State's Nathan Stupar and UConn's Kashif Moore. But this time we're chatting with a player that had to wait for his schools pro day to show what he can do. Rutgers offensive tackle Desmond Stapleton.
WCG Pre Draft Interview with UConn WR Kashif Moore
We're trying to cover all our pre-draft bases here at Windy City Gridiron, so we're bringing you some insight from a few NFL hopefuls. Yesterday we had Penn State linebacker Nathan Stupar in for a chat, and today we're bringing you Kashif Moore, a 5'9" 180 pound wide receiver from the Connecticut Huskies. Moore is a prospect that turned a few heads at the NFL Combine. Based off his tape, the scouts thought he was a very good possession receiver that didn't have the speed to get deep. But his combine numbers told a different story.
WCG Pre Draft Interview with Penn State LB Nathan Stupar
We're always striving to bring something unique to our readers, and with the NFL Draft fast approaching we had a chance to talk to a few athletes that participated at the NFL combine. Some may be legit Chicago Bears prospects, some may not be, but until they hear their names called who's really to say. We want to bring you the perspective of an NFL hopeful and some of their experiences from the combine. First up is Penn State linebacker Nathan Stupar, who early on in his collegiate career spent considerable time on the special teams. He's the kind of versatile athlete the Bears usually covet.
Exclusive WCG Interview with OLB J.T. Thomas
Bears'outside linebacker J.T. Thomas was kind enough to take a few minutes out of his busy schedule to talk with Windy City Gridiron. Thomas was the Bears' sixth round draft choice out of West Virginia this year, but missed all of his rookie season due to a back injury (aka: the Lovie Smith redshirt year). For some more information on J.T., you can follow him on twitter @therealjt3 or check out Monday's WCG article about the good works J.T. is doing off the field.
1. WindyCityGridiron: You spent the last week on a road trip from Florida to Chicago stopping at various epilepsy centers. What prompted you to make that trip?
JT Thomas: I was able to get to know a Chicago-area kid named Anthony Grandberry, who has epilepsy, over the past few months. I was able to visit him around Christmas time and we've became good friends. I want to make a road trip like this an annual thing for me, each year focusing on visiting a different group of kids.
WCG Exclusive Interview with Bears rookie UDFA WR Kris Adams
Here at Windy City Gridiron we strive to bring you a wide variety of topics. We have our fair share of straight reporting, we have plenty of commentary pieces, we try and hit on the Xs and Os, and we occasionally snag someone to give an inside look into the Chicago Bears. After bringing you a Q&A with Bears veteran Corey Graham yesterday, today we hit the other end of the spectrum with undrafted free agent wide receiver Kris Adams. Adams is a bigger target at 6'3" and 195, and he played his college ball at UTEP. Kris was nice enough to take some time after practice to email his responses to WCG.
WCG Exclusive Interview with Bears DB Corey Graham
As luck would have it, one of the assistant coaches on the football team I coach has a Chicago Bear for a neighbor. And as you can decipher from the title, it's Bears special teams standout and defensive back Corey Graham.
I think the Bears were fortunate that free agency was as rushed as it was, and they were able to retain Graham. His stellar special teams play would be tough to replace. Corey was nice enough to take some time from his busy training camp schedule to answer a few questions for us.
