Bear Defense
is no longer great, nor even good.  It is actually a bad defense.

haha
they are no monsters of the midway, true, but 16 fuckin points and our offense can't top that? this loss goes on the offense, like most of the losses before. it is time to scrap the brian griese experiment, he was trash today, might as well put in grossman or orton or someone who has some type of potential to build on.

nope
gonna be a lot worse without briggs too.

It's a pretty bad offense
too..

Who's next on the QB carousel?

Does anyone actually give a shit that they're playing a game in London?

the europeans
sure gave a shit. that stadium was packed all the way up til the end of the game. it was actually a pretty excitin 4th quarter drive. i'm stuck in texas right now so we got that game over the bears and i gotta say, i'm pretty glad.

Stupid
Those were the throws for which Grossman was benched.

Why do all the views show Orton watching what Griese's doing but you never see Rex?  What'd he doing anymore?

griese experiment over?
i think the season is, so for me i am pretty indifferent either way. griese isn't getting it done, play one of the kids.

start peterson.

i'd give griese one more game
he single-handedly has cost us both games against detroit. he did good things in the other games. if he has another lackluster game, you have to either go to rex (and hope the benching helped him refocus) or orton. as for peterson, he does better than ced, but mostly because the line actually gets a push for him. i really don't know what the problem is, but the o-line in general gives benson almost nothing to work with. i thought he played pretty good today, ran hard, hit holes, and made some nice runs when he had even the slightest window.

benson
i think he needs the pressure, him and ap are completely different runners when they both hit holes.

maybe the pressure helps
but if he's still getting tackled a second after getting a handoff, it won't matter any. i just don't get why our line is doing such a horrible job on the vast majority of his carries. i also suspect benson getting hit behind the line as often as he has this year has made him less patient for blocks when the line actually does give him something. we really need to draft linemen and safeties this year.

line not gettign it done
but when both guys have the ball in open space they look completely different to me, with peterson looking better. although for the second time all year it did look like benson cut one back.

Benson
Needs to lower his shoulder and run over guys.  That's what his style is.  There were any number of plays he could have gained a yard or two more if he just did that rather than attempting to juke and and sucking at it.
