Mock Draft Round Up

They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and that is true, but in this case throw in jealousy as well. In true HailRedskins fashion here is a recap of a majority of the most recently updated mock drafts, including the Bears projected pick. As you can guess this is a lot of cut and paste work, so if I start getting giddy around draft time, I might update this, but if not this is all you get.

interesting read

A lot of the same stuff I've been reading on my own. Personally, I am started to get really interested in Quentin Moses. As either DE/LB, he would add a lot to our ability to rush the passer. Maybe I'm focusing on him because drafting Offensive Linemen, although necessary and probably a good idea, just aren't sexy picks.

This is how I figured out my picks....

....for the Windy City Gridiron Mock Draft. Basically just took a compilation of who was the most popular and tried to throw my own in there. The Patriots first pick is easy if the guy is still there. The second one is a little harder.

But yeah... I basically went to Hail Redskins and went from mock to mock. It was incredibly handy. (I think I linked them somewhere else. Glad you did, too.)

Skins make offer for Briggs

"Sources said the Redskins are set to pay Briggs $20 million in guaranteed money as part of a multiyear deal that will average $7.5 million per season. It's a sweet deal for a guy who played out his rookie contract only to be hit with the franchise tag by the Bears, which means he would get $7.2 million for one year."
