The Bears have placed rookie linebacker Michael Okwo on injured reserved for a shoulder injury.  Okwo was injured during the Cleveland game. The impact of this could vary.  Jamar Williams is the immediate backup for at least Lance Briggs and Brian Urlacher.  I don't know who steps in should Hillenmeyer goes down.

The Bears filled the roster spot by signing Lousaka Polite.  Polite has spent the last 3 years on the Dallas Cowboys.  This signing was to give depth at fullback until Obafemi Ayanbadejo is back from his league mandated suspension.
