Lance Briggs Not In Demand

It appears that Lance Briggs and his agent might have overestimated the market for his services.  Through the first day of free agency and they have not been contacted by any teams.

The two teams that were labeled as front runners for his service,  Washington Redskins and San Francisco 49ers, are apparently not as interested as originally thought.

It is believed that after a week, Briggs and agent might lower their demands and it is expected that teams like the Denver, Cleveland, and Tampa Bay might come calling.

I don't know what the details and full amounts are that the Bears offered Briggs, but the longer he stays on the market the better the Bears chances are he comes back.

Tampa
NFL Network said that he'll be visiting Tampa, which is a logical fit.  No more Brooks, Briggs would fit right in.  They also said that since there have been so many LB signings that he would end up staying in Chicago.
