WCG Mock Draft - Tennessee Titans

CURRENT SELECTION
Limas Sweed
Wide Receiver
Texas
ANALYSIS: The future of the Titans franchise depends on the development of Vince Young. Already this off-season, they have replaced Offensive Coordinator Norm Chow and brought back Mike Heimindinger who helped develop Steve McNair in Nashville. They also brought in Alge Crumlper in Free agency to give him a reliable TE. Sweed could be a poor team’s version of Calvin Johnson with 4.46 40-time speed with a big 6’4’’ frame. If Sweed would have come out last year he would have been a top 10 pick, but a pair of wrist injuries slowed him down last year.

Thanks for keeping me away from work.

Malcolm Kelly
Ran a crappy 4.68 at his makeup proday. He wanted to run on a track surface but when he showed up he had to run on the practice field and he says that it hindered his usual time of 4.50. This could play into our favor. Mabye he'll slide to the 3rd right into our mitts. We need reciever newayz. i think if he does fall like that he'll be a steal! he also stated that he would rerun it for anyteam who wants him to on visits.

no shot
4.68 is bad but behind sweed and desean jackson the wr class this year is pretty weak, no way kelly goes past middle second round.

Are you kidding?
There are lots of receivers with good upside this year.  Devin Thomas, Mario Manningham, Early Doucet, James Hardy, Earl Bennett, Andre Caldwell, Jordy Nelson, Dexter Jackson, Eddie Royal, Donnie Avery, etc., etc., etc.

I'm a fan
of Eddie Royal.  I wouldn't mind picking him.
