Tank and the 'boys

According to ESPN, Tank has signed a two year deal with the Cowboys.  Hell, they took TO, i guess there isn't anyone they won't take.

"The former Chicago Bear visited team officials Monday night and hoped to have a deal in place by Tuesday afternoon. Although it is unclear what he can do between now and when he is reinstated by the league, the former Chicago Bear at least has a future employer."

what a joke - fox training camp power rankings

http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7072680

if you haven't seen it, take a moment and stop by FoxSports and check out Peter Schrager's new power rankings, where he ranks the beloved #7.

i am not going to go over the list, but Ill just say that he's nuts.  I am not saying that the bears should be top 3, but the fact that they are out of the top 5 is crazy.  sure NO improved a little, and maybe with the loss of jones there is a question-mark at the RB position, but we did beat them by 4 touchdowns, without mike brown and tommie harris.  last I checked, the Saints were still a dome team and it gets very cold in december in chicago.

heres hoping the next time someone ranks the teams they actually GO to some the camps instead of just reading the transaction wire.

Walker gets 5 years, $25 mil

According to CBS Sportsline, the beloved just signed Darwin Walker to a 5 year deal.  See http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/story/10276473

$2 million plus bonuses/incentives isn't too shabby.  Hope Tank realizes that this should have been his contract, and puts his life back together.

I think I like this deal, so long as it doesn't effect the efforts to resign Harris.  But it is great to see the Bears actively signing guys who fit the system and want to be here.
