The Bears have placed rookie receiver Airese Currie on IR. This ends Currie's season. One week after activating Currie in hopes he could solve some of the spped issues the Bears have at wideout, it has been determined he just won't be ready to play.
Also, to add some depth to the offensive line the Bears have signed Lennie Friedman. Freidman most recently played for the Redskins.
