WR Mushin Muhammad will get a second crack at his old team, the Carolina Panthers, this weekend and looks to have a better game.
Muhammad said Monday that he was looking forward to a rematch all along, saying he didn't play his best game when the Bears beat the Panthers 13-3 on Nov. 20 at Soldier Field. Muhammad had six catches for 49 yards, including a three-yard touchdown catch, but dropped a potential second touchdown in the end zone.
The first game he claimed he was so nervous that it lead to him not playing his best. OK, I will buy that, but this is what we signed the guy for. Big players make big plays in big games. He needs to step it up and show us he is worth what we paid him. And please hang on to the ball.
