The News
With the Packers and Rams opting for offense in their head coaching searches, the Bears will retain Ron Rivera as defensive coordinator, the Chicago Tribune reports. For the first time in three years, the Bears will enter a season with no changes to their top three coaching positions.
Our View
Stability isn't something the Bears are accustomed to and offers promise for a young team that should continue to get better. While Rivera returning to the league's top defense is certainly a good thing, hopefully we'll see some significant improvement on the offensive side of the ball as well
