Bears playoff tickets went on sale Tuesday, and within 20 minutes, all were snatched up.
Bears spokesman Scott Hagel said the tickets were actually spoken for within two minutes, but the time it took to complete the transactions, plus the fact that some people turned down the initial ticket offers, drew things out to 20 minutes.
"The demand is extremely high,'' he said. "If we could seat four times what Soldier Field holds, we probably still wouldn't have enough.''
The number of tickets available to the general public Tuesday was "in the low thousands,'' Hagel said. The stadium holds 61,500 people.
