According to the Chicago Tribune, the Bears have started contract talks with Coach Smith.
The Chicago Tribune is reporting that the Bears and head coach Lovie Smith have begun initial talks that may extend his contract beyond the two years it currently runs. "I want Lovie Smith to be our coach for a long, long time," general manager Jerry Angelo told the Trib.
