It looks like the Bears could be the first team that is significantly affected with the leagues new flexible scheduling.
Industry sources are saying that the Bears/Giants game is close to being moved to Sunday night.
Other games that are being considered for a move to Sunday night are the games versus Minnesota and Tampa Bay.
Per this article, CBS and FOX are allowed to protect 5 games during the 7 weeks of flex scheduling. FOX has the rest of the Bears games, but only protected the game against the Jets. They left unprotectd the Bears/Patriots game. The scheduled Sunday night game that week is the Colts and Eagels. FOX is betting that will remain the night game and it will as long as one of the teams doesn't implode or one of their QBs doesn't go down.
