BEARS move to 8-1

New, comments

A blow out of Seattle, a miracle comeback versus the Cardinals and a tale of two halves against the Giants, this is why everybody is fighting over Bears games.  They certainly make things interesting.

I'll talk a little bit more about the stats tomorrow, what is more important is the implecations of tonight's win.

Firstly, we now have a 2 game lead in the NFC race with a tie breaker over the Giants and the Seattle should one of them catch us.

With Minnesota loosing we now have a 4 game lead in the North, if it wasn't already that race is over.

The most important thing I think for this team is with the tough 5 games we are at the beginning of we got the first one.  If we come out of the 5 bare minimun with 3 wins, we can almost coast.  However, there is no real reason we can't come out with 4 or even all 5.  The Patriots are reeling and have been showing some weakness, the Rams are an inconsistent team, the Jets are an average team and well Minnesota is Minnesota.

Rock Star of the game was Thomas Jones.
