If you look past all the Hester press, a few other Bears have made a bit a mark of their own.
Thomas Jones has become the first Bears rusher to have back-to-back 1000 yard seasons since Neal Anderson did it in three consecutive years (88-90).
He also passed Anthony Thomas for 5th on the Bears all-time rushing list. He is behind Walter Payton, Neal Anderson, Rick Casares and Gale Sayers.
Rex Grossman has become the first Bears QB to throw for 20 TDs since Erik Kramer threw 29 in 1995. He is also looking to become the first Bears QB to play every game, also done last in 95.
Punter Brad Maynard borke the Bears' all-time record for punts inside the 20 with 159. He has done it in just six seasons. Previous mark was held by Bob Parsons who had 158 12 seasons from 1972-83.
Congrats to all these guys.
