Ok, I would not be telling the truth if I said I was cool with the mock draft not working. I was quite looking forward to that. That said I think the draft is too interesting and fun, to not do something with it.
So here is what I am going to try. I am going to start by making a pick. Hopefully, each one leads to some discussion for and against the pick. I will likely still ask my SB brothers to pick for their team.
To open up the cause to those of you who wanted to take part in the draft, I will keep an eye on my email. If you send me a pick for whatever team is on the clock, I will use that. The pick must include team, player choosen, school, position and a breif 3-4 sentences on why they would be a good fit. I will use them on a first come first serve basis. Also, the pick must be in line with what pick I am on. So don't send me a pick for #10 if I have only posted up to #5, you don't know who will or won't be available by that time.
I figure there were at least 10 of you interested in the draft, hopefully I can get a few of you to send me some picks, so this isn't just my draft board. First pick coming soon, like anybody doesn't know who that will be, unless you beat me to it by emailing me, before I write the post:)
