It is being reported that Thomas Jones, who is unhappy with his contract and unhappy with the Bears refusal to trade him when teams came calling this offseason, reported Thursday for his physical, so it is expected that he will show up for the Bears first mini camp.
Briggs on the other had did not show for his physical. Briggs is also unhappy with his contract and in most of our opinions is grossly overestimating his importance to the team. Any linebacker's stats go up 20 tackles and 3 sacks a season playing next to Urlacher.
UPDATE: The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that eventhough Briggs did not show for his physical he was in town and expected to attend mini camps.
