Even though the Bears are off to the most impressive start in such a long time I cannot even recall there is still work to be done. This article points out 5 positions in which players are still fighting for the starting spot.
Defensive tackle
Ian Scott vs. Tank Johnson
Better against the run, Scott starts because teams typically open with a tight end and two running backs. But Johnson entered on the third play against the Lions and made his revved-up presence felt immediately with a sack and forced fumble. Should the Bears take advantage of that adrenaline and start Johnson? Maybe, although starting is a mere formality on the defensive line, where the Bears trust four tackles enough to rotate them.
