Not that it is any surprise, but it is now official. Thomas Jones will open as the Bears #1 running back for the third straight year.
The odd part that was pointed out to me by an email was that the Bears depth chart does not list Cedric Benson. At first I thought it was just a mistake, but they have updated the list by removing Pope after his release. Mean something? I doubt it. I don't know if they keep him off until he is active or not.
