Let's Hope What They Say About Roaches Is True

Recently signed special teams player, Ade Jimoh, became the ninth player the Bears have placed on injured reserve following sustaining a fractured collar bone during the Bears defeat to the Seahawks.

In his place the Bears have signed linebacker Nick Roach off of the San Diego Chargers practice squad.

Roach went to high school at Milwaukee Lutheran and  later Northwestern.

Roach was academic All-Big Ten at Northwestern and finished there with 241 tackles, nine sacks, 16 tackles for loss and two interceptions.

The Bears also signed safety Brandon Sharpe to the practice squad.  Sharpe, out of Louisville, was an undrafted free agent picked up by Tennessee.
