San Diego Comes A Callin

Be sure to get your spot in the 2nd Annual WCG Mock Draft

It is quite rare that a coach on a Super Bowl team has as fair a chance of getting a head coaching gig as other coaches, but Rivera has that shot with the San Diego Chargers.  Rivera was on of the first calls the Chargers made after releasing Good Ol Schott.  The only question is how serious shot does he have.  Already Norv Turner is the odds on favorite if Pete Carroll decides to stay at USC.

Unlike the Cowboys job, this one is a nice fit for him.  There is an offense in place that is very effective, he only need put his stamp on the defense and the Chargers are well on their way.

From the Chargers standpoint, it might be smart of them to go for a coach with some experience, since their coaching staff has recently been cherry picked by other teams.
