Bears linebackers coach Bob Babich was a name that has been thrown around to take over the defensive coordinator job for the Vikings.
Babich has said he has not interest in taking the position and that it hasn't even crossed his mind.
Of course, the easy answer is he knows Rivera is one his way out sometime in the next few years, and he is favored to take over. Why leave the Bears D, for the Vikings D?
