Bio Highlights Scouting Report Michael Okwo Linebacker Stanford Height: 5' 11" Weight: 232 40 time: 4.73 Okwo served two purposes, first to provide depth at the linebacker spot and to immediate help on special teams. Secondly, could it be Angelo's way of letting Briggs know the Bears are ready to run without him? Angelo has been quoted as saying that Okwo reminds him a lot of Briggs and would fit in nicely on the outside. Okwo is a good tackler and a smart player. He does have durability concerns and isn't the best in coverage, which is a concern, but no player we draft is going to match Briggs, so we will have to live with that. |
