I have no beef with new Bear safety Adam Archuleta, but I ran across this news story on the official site and it just struck me the wrong way.
"They're farther along than I thought they'd be," he said. "The sky is the limit. We definitely have the personnel. It's just how we come together and how we jell as a unit. Once we get momentum, I think definitely we could be unstoppable."
Archuleta does have a bit of a rep for putting his foot in his mouth and he probably meant nothing by it, but "They're farther along than I thought". And you are who? They are farther than the team who went to the Super Bowl last year? They are farther than the Pro Bowl calibur defense you have been playing the last few years?
