Many speculated that the reason the Bears offered Lance Briggs another contract is because they are unsure if Urlacher is going to be ready to play. It would just be insane that the Bears decided they still wanted him because he is a great player, right? God forbid anybody changes their mind on a player.
Either way Angelo has said they fully expect to have Urlacher back at 100% by the start of training camp.
`We feel good about the prognosis and what the doctors have told us about Brian's surgery and that he's going to be 100 percent healthy,'' Angelo said. ``He continues to go through the rehab process, which is going well. It's a concern anytime a player has surgery. But we feel good that he's going to be back and going. Nobody's said anything to the contrary, and we'll just go from there.''
