Despite the Bears publicly stating that they would welcome everybody from last year's team back, they continue letting guys go.
On Monday the Bears released right tackle Fred Miller. Miller had two years left on his contract. Initially a very good pickup by the Bears, this year he took the brunt of the criticism that the Bears offensive line has taken this year coming off of a horrible season.
The Bears have also opted to not pay Darwin Walker his 5.2 million dollar bonus. Walker was a complete disaster of a pickup. Hoping that he would boost the Bears pass rush, he instead was ineffective and often injured.
