I don't know if the pre season schedule has any rhyme or reason to it, but sometimes it seems to always just work out in the best interests of conflict.
While only date ranges are available for most games, the Bears will host the 49ers on August 21. It will be a televised game.
The other games are against the Chiefs between Aug. 7-11, at Seattle between Aug. 14-18 and ending at Cleveland on Aug. 28 or 29. This will be the fifth straight year the Bears and Browns have ended the pre season against each other.
