You have probably heard by now that Jim Mora was fired in Seattle today. If you haven't heard, well, now you have.
Since following this whole Twitter thing for news stuff, I've recently seen that Seattle is targeting USC head coach Pete Carroll, and according to Chris Mortenson, "it is expected to happen."
Now, how could this affect the Bears' pursuit of Jeremy Bates? Speculate away my dear readers...
UPDATE: A link dropped in the comments section with a little more detail. Maybe "indirectly" affecting the Bears is wrong. This could be direct if Carroll is trying to convince Bates to go to Seattle with him.
