From the Practice Field: Live Bears Twitter Updates

Cutler accurate in red zone 7 on 7 tonight

Zach Zaidman:

Frank Omiyale blocking with a vengeance at the start of the inside run drill

Aromashodu with an acrobatic catch in 7 on 7. He adjusted masterfully to Cutler's ball in mid-flight.

Hester grabs red zone touchdown extending arms to make catch in corner from Cutler. Aromashodu follows up next play with same type of catch

Aromashodu taking over red zone drill. Another TD catch. This time it was over the middle.

Sean Jensen:

Got officials out here tonight. Over under on number of false starts?

Tim Jennings with a pick.

O-line doing solid job in run blocking drill. Opened up a big hole for Forte

Cutler with a perfect corner of the end zone pass to Devin A.

Wolfe with a tough catch along the sideline, streaking into the end zone. Caleb Hanie with the throw. Offense on fire in 7 v 7

Devin Hester stretches for a tough ball over a defender. Excellent catch. Cutler trusted him with that throw.

Cutler infuego. Hooks up with Devin A. For about 20 yards.

WCG thoughts: Overall, sounds like the offense is clicking.  Good to hear Omiyale came out with a vengence, and that Cutler and Aromashodu are making great things happen.  Overall, sounds like a good practice for the offense tonight.

We'll keep you updated for more... stay tuned.

UPDATE: 11-ON-11 drills have started

Zaidman:

Defense giving the offense fits at the start of 11 on 11

The defense doing a great job of penetrating into the offensive backfield to interrupt the timing needed to complete passes

It's a treat standing behind Chris Harris and Charles Tillman on the sideline as they decipher what the offense will run in presnap reads

Jensen:

Olsen with a regrettable drop

O was doing well at beginning of practice. But with d-line on the field, they aren't faring so well anymore. Chester, though, has shined

Definitely some contact tonight. Physical practice.

Rashied Davis with tough grab over the middle in traffic

WCG thoughts: The defensive line shows up and starts disrupting everything.  Good.  I wonder how much of it is Tommie Harris.

Stay tuned for more...

Jensen:

Henry Melton gets a look inside alongside Tommie Harris with the starters. Jennings the third corner now. Bullocks and Steltz safeties.

End of practice: As practice ends, the beat guys and gals will be fighting for quotes and quippets from players and coaches.  We'll round all of the relevent material up and post it tomorrow!
