Early in the week, Chris Harris tweeted that the only way he'd miss the upcoming NFC Champioship game would be if his leg was amputated, but it looks like his hip injury is a bit more serious than originally thought. He practiced yesterday, but no decision will be made until game time whether he will be able to go. Said Harris:
"I have to be smart about it,'' Harris said Friday. "If gutting it out means I can't get over the top of Donald Driver on a deep route, then no. I wouldn't try to play tough guy for my on (sic) gratification to say I played in the NFC championship game."
Rookie safety Major Wright would start in Harris' place if needed.
