Brian Urlacher and Lance Briggs back out of Pro Bowl

In what has become a common practice in recent years for many NFL players, Brian Urlacher will not be attending this year's Pro Bowl in Hawaii.  Brad Biggs has the scoop:

Brian Urlacher was selected to his seventh Pro Bowl in the most impressive season he has had since he was named the NFL's defensive player of the year in 2005.

But the Chicago Bears linebacker will not be making the expenses-paid trip to Hawaii. The Washington Redskins announced Monday that London Fletcher will replace Urlacher on the NFC's roster.

Other players from the Bears squad to make the Pro Bowl team are Julius Peppers, Devin Hester, and Lance Briggs.  Don't be surprised if any or all of those three back out as well.

UPDATE: Lance Briggs will also not be attending the Pro Bowl.
