Week 17 Injury Report: Bears At Vikings

So the injury report this week loses a couple of familiar names, as the Bears officially ended the seasons of Jay Cutler and Matt Forte by placing the pair on injured reserve. I think when Martz was signed, most of us thought Cutler would be on the IR sooner or later, but I don't think this would have been the reason why.

Aside from that, the usual injury report notes are fairly usual. Marion Barber is still doubtful with his calf injury and hasn't practiced all week, so it most likely will be another Kahlil Bell and Armando Allen show. The only other injury on the list with a designation worse than "probable" is Brian Urlacher's knee injury - he had limited participation in practice on Friday and is listed as questionable.

On the Vikings' side of the ledger, Christian Ponder left last week's game with a concussion, yet had full participation this week and is listed as probable. On a side note, is it just me or has there been more concussion controversy this season than ever?
