In last week's edition of Chalk Talk, Larry Meyer was asked where Brian Urlacher ranked among Bears' linebackers.

I would rank Brian Urlacher in between Dick Butkus and Mike Singletary. In my opinion, Butkus was the most ferocious and intimidating player in NFL history and he may also be among the top five defensive players as well. There’s also no question that Brian Urlacher has been an incredibly special middle linebacker with a very rare combination of speed, athleticism and power. Being named NFL defensive player of the year in 2005 speaks for itself. In addition to his talent and big-play ability, Urlacher has consistently demonstrated excellent leadership skills that have made his teammates better.

Now, aside from my initial shock at seeing Singletary bumped down any list, I'm curious as to not only where you think Urlacher ranks among the great Bears linebackers (not just including middle linebackers), but also among all players.

Does he rank in the top 10?
