A quick update on some of the prospects out there that the Bears are checking out-
- Vaughn McClure reports that Mike Tice is at Florida's Pro Day for G/C Mike Pouncey.
- Brad Biggs says that Shane Day is checking out QB T.J. Yates of North Carolina.
- Biggs also points out that Tim Spencer is looking at Shane Vereen as a possible backup to RB Matt Forte.
Of these prospects, only Pouncey rates as a possible 1st round pick, but Vereen could likely go in the 2nd round. Yates is more of a late-round prospect, but is listed as one of several developmental QBs that the Bears have taken a look at recently.
