According to Twin Cities Pioneer Press, the Minnesota Vikings at one point considered trading for Broncos QB Kyle Orton.
A little birdie says the Vikings considered trading for Denver quarterback Kyle Orton but have backed off. But it wasn't because of any progress made by Joe Webb, who insiders say is nowhere close to being an effective starter.
Imagine the reaction of the Bears fan base had a move like that been made. In one corner, you'd have the Orton supporters spelling doom for the Bears, because all Kyle Orton knew how to do was win; in the other corner, you'd have Orton critics lol'ing at the Vikings for bringing in a QB who could never carry the team on his back.
Here's a fun game: Let's pretend that Orton was traded to the Vikes... perhaps for a 2nd round pick in this year's Draft. Let's use the comment section as a reaction thread... What is your reaction to this news?
