Former Bears RB Cedric Benson recently spoke up on a variety of topics, including the situations with Carson Palmer and Chad Ochocinco.

More interesting was his comments on what he'd like to see change in Cincy:

"I’d like to see leadership, I’d like to see things that I saw when Chicago made the Super Bowl. I saw the offensive line as a unit in the weight room. No matter what it was they were always together. The receivers always together. Just some leadership."

Benson has been openly critical of his former team, so it's surprising to see him come out and publicly recognize something that was good in Chicago.  The Bengals have definitely had a circus going on for quite some time, so I'm sure Benson probably does miss the stability and cohesion among his teammates.

Oh, and does he think he deserves big-time Free Agency money?

"I think I’m deserving of that I just hope a couple teams feel the same way. It would be nice if it would be the Bengals, they drafted a quarterback in the second round and have young receivers, they’re going to need a horse in there."
