Steve Smith a good fit in Chicago... at least someone thinks so.

Carolina Panthers wide out Steve Smith isn't on record saying he wants out of Carolina, or that he demands a trade, but that isn't stopping any speculation from flowing about him leaving the Panthers. I guess him not saying anything about staying in Carolina has some fans worried. Rodney Southern a contributing writer for the Yahoo Sports network, wrote a piece a couple days ago on some potential landing spots for Smith if he were to take his talents elsewhere. And guess where his speculation went first... Yes to the Chicago Bears.

As much as I hate to admit it, Jay Cutler slinging the ball is just the type of quarterback style that Smitty thrives with. Cutler will take any chance and Steve Smith is at his best on the fly. He is excellent at making something out of the unexpected and Cutler certainly knows a thing to two about that. Smith could be the piece that Chicago and Cutler needs to get to that next level.

At his age, 32, what would it take to make a deal for him. Jerry Angelo has stated he isn't looking to trade any more #1 draft picks, so could the Bears even make a play for Smith?
