This is a quick reminder that we still have two rounds of voting going on.
The #2 Wide Receiver voting is as contested a match-up as we'll have, with the five candidates separated by 11 votes from top to bottom, and currently a tie for first between Muhsin Muhammad and Johnny Knox. You can help break that tie by voting here.
The Quarterback position poll is turning into a rout, but add your voice to that poll here.
Both the above polls will end and have their results posted on Wednesday at 10 PM ET/9 PM CT. At that time we'll commence with the "Flex" position, which will include the top skill position players that didn't make the team as of yet. So far, the candidates include Thomas Jones, Greg Olsen, and two of the receivers that don't win the #2 WR poll.
This weekend, we'll start nailing down the offensive line, and move from there to the defensive line (2 DE/2 DT), linebackers (3), cornerbacks (2), safeties (2), then punter, placekicker, and returner. For now, we'll continue doing two each weekend and one mid-week, but if we start running into a time crunch with the upcoming season, we'll accelerate the voting and polls as needed. Tomorrow, we'll have added our fourth and fifth players, meaning twenty more will be done... and also meaning we'll have the team nailed down by August 10.
