In the first quarter, Jay Cutler hit Dane Sanzenbacher for an eight yard touchdown pass. The Bears ended the first quarter up 7-3.

Unfortunately, that was the high point of the game, as Drew Brees hit Devery Henderson for a long touchdown pass early in the second quarter and the Saints were off and running. Once the second half hit, Cutler was sacked 6 times and really had trouble getting any passing room - much like much of last season, the throws he was able to make were either overthrown or just not caught by the receivers.

Quick, disappointing numbers after the jump.

Jay Cutler: 19/45, 244 yards, 1 TD; 67.3 passer rating - 1 fumble lost
Matt Forte: 10 carries, 49 yards; 10 receptions, 117 yards
Dane Sanzenbacher: 3 receptions, 33 yards, 1 TD
Israel Idonije: 1 sack

Drew Brees: 26/37, 270 yards, 3 TD; 118.1 passer rating
Mark Ingram: 14 carries, 51 yards; Pierre Thomas: 9 carries, 41 yards
Devery Henderson: 3 receptions, 103 yards, 1 TD
Jimmy Graham: 6 receptions, 79 yards; Darren Sproles: 8 receptions, 43 yards, 1 TD
Roman Harper: 2 sacks; Turk McBride: 1 sack; Junior Galette: 2 sacks
