The Bears aren't noted for full disclosure on team injuries, but we did find out today that rookie Gabe Carimi won't be back on the field any time soon.

Mike Tice on Carimi: "Hopefully it's not gonna be forever. But it's gonna be an extended period of time [that Carimi is out]."

Tice on Frank Omiyale, and on whether Lance Louis will play: "Absolutely this week, Frank will be the guy. We'd like to get Lance back, and get Lance in the mix," Tice said. "When Lance comes back, we'll find a place for Lance to play. He'll play."

Optimist Bears fans will hope that another year of experience under Tice will result in improvements from the OL, but the pessimist will remember 2010 and say "Not this sh*t again."

Currently, I'm trying to keep the faith, but it ain't easy.
