Roster movement has already started.
Per numerous sources, the Bears have landed two-time Pro Bowl safety Brandon Meriweather with a one-year deal.
Meriweather was a former first-round pick (#24 overall) of the Patriots in 2007, and over 64 games as a Patriot amassed 244 tackles and 12 interceptions, but was benched often recently for mental lapses.
No corresponding roster move has been announced as of yet.
