Fantasy Football Analysis: Week 6

And the Chicago Bears D/ST is the weekly poll winner, as the #1 weekly ranked and the #1 overall ranked in standard fantasy scoring! Now that we have established Forte, Marshall, and the Bears D/ST as #1 options, let's put them all on bye week...and since we have no Bears football, lets see what else is going on in Fantasy Land (you know, where the Lions compete for the NFC North).

Adds: RB LaRod Stephen-Howling should take over for Arizona now that Beanie Wells AND Ryan Williams are out. I'd say Alex Green, but GB can't run and Houston is going to suffocate him. WR Jeremy Kerley is inconsistent but worth flexes most weeks with Holmes out.

Drops: Wells & Williams if you are carrying either; neither is worth an IR wait. All of Pitts running backs not named Mendenhall. Cassel, if you had him.

Matchup Based Sleepers: QB Kevin Kolb has a really easy rebound matchup this week...and so does Christian Ponder...and so does the previously mentioned RB LaRod Stephen-Howling. WR Andrew Hawkins might be a good play this week. WR Andre Roberts has a good matchup too.

The Writers League is my bane once again, as I got "Colston'd" and lost by 3 on Sunday night...with what I think was my best score of the season in that league. Its pretty much gone at 4L, but I'll give giving it the old college try...

Injury Watch: QB Alex Smith should play. Cedric Benson will be out for a bit. Daniel Thomas probably misses this week, and so will Andre Brown. LaRod Stephen Howling is a good add but you have to watch his injury status too. WR Danny Amendola remains out. Watch Lance Moore.Hakeem Nicks is becoming a running joke (on me) injury wise. Stephen Hill comes back this week, and so will Ramses Barden. Jimmy Graham, Martellus Bennett, Rob Gronkowski, Jermichael Finley, Aaron Hernandez...who are "Members of the most injured NFL position for 500" Bob?

Bye Weeks: Carolina (Cam Newton, Steve Smith, DeAngelo Williams, Greg Olsen), Chicago (D/ST, Matt Forte, Michael Bush, Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery, Jay Cutler), Jacksonville (MJD), New Orleans (Drew Brees, Marques Colston, Lance Moore, Devery Henderson, Darren Sproles)
