With the existing injury to Earl Bennett and now Alshon Jeffery missing significant time, the Bears needed to shore up their wide receiver corps a little bit. They signed wide receiver Kamar Aiken to the practice squad.
Aiken is a second-year receiver who broke in with the Buffalo Bills and picked up two starts, but hasn't recorded any stats of note to date. He's a 6'2", 212 pound target with some decent speed, and pairs up with Joe Anderson to give the Bears a couple of nice developmental players.
To make room, the Bears terminated the contract of Harvey Unga.
