By now we're all up to speed on yesterday's post game comments from the Chicago Bears players and head coach Lovie Smith. If not, here's a link to the Bears Den so you can all catch up.
Lovie met the media today and he covered a number of topics. We'll run down some of what he had to say via Twitter;
From Zach Zaidman:
Lovie Smith: "Offensively, of course we need more production."
Lovie Smith on why they've struggled vs. GB: "I can't give you a good reason for it."
Lovie Smith says there will be no changes on the coaching staff this week.
Lovie Smith on if his team has easiest road to 10 wins: "We're just looking at how we can get to nine."
Lovie Smith on Brandon Marshall's comments: "I would like to think that all throughout the season we've stressed being accountable."
From Sean Jensen:
Lovie Smith on @michaelbush29: "He was in uniform, we were only going to use him if we have to. Still wasn't quite ready to go."
#Bears coach Lovie Smith: "Normally, when we win the turnover battle we win the football game..."
#Bears coach Lovie Smith said he isn't aware of what Brian Urlacher said on Fox.
From Brad Biggs:
Lovie: "We've got to find a way to get to 10-6 and see what happens."
Lovie: "We realize what the score is, we lost to them again. This week, we are to that must game. It's about Arizona."
And a little bonus snark from Biggs:
Team announced Lovie presser was delayed to 12:15 and 12:30 and we still have not started. No, I don't think any big reason for the delay.
I do know Tom Coughlin would not keep this kind of schedule.
Here's a little something from PFT:
"Yesterday's game was a must-game for the NFC North championship, but besides that, it wasn't a must-game with what can happen for our season," Smith said at his press conference on Monday. "This week it is a must game."
Now it's your turn to sound of on Lovie, the Bears, the future...
