Bears head coaching candidates: Bucs OC Mike Sullivan

Phil Emery is a busy man, lining up a third interview for his vacant head coach position.

Sean Jensen is reporting that the Chicago Bears will interview Tampa Bay Bucs' offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan for their vacant head coach position.

This marks the third interview scheduled in the hours since Lovie Smith was relieved of his duties after nine seasons in Chicago.

Jensen notes that Sullivan is credited with helping Eli Manning find success in New York, and with turning Josh Freeman around in Tampa Bay.

Sullivan spent eight seasons with the New York Giants, with 2004-2009 being the wide receivers coach, and 2010 and 2011 as their quarterbacks coach.

This season, he was hired by the Buccaneers as their offensive coordinator.

Phil Emery came into Chicago with a reputation for his tireless work ethic, and has already lined up three interviews for his head coaching position. Also scheduled is Atlanta Falcons special teams coach Keith Armstring and Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy
